White Label Equity Crowdfunding Portals

With the passage of the JOBS Act the concept of crowdfunding has officially ‘grown up’.

At InvestedIn we believe that there will be a very diverse ecosystem of crowdfunding portals each specializing in different kinds of companies, offerings, and verticals. While Kickstarter and Indiegogo dominate the donation and pre-sales space of today’s crowdfunding the investment space will be a very different market.

Since the passing of the JOBS Act we’ve been hard at work adding the features necessary to enable equity crowdfunding for our white label clients. We can enable your users to offer different types of notes and discount windows. We have the ability to manage post investment communications with investors, making it easy for entrepreneurs to keep their investors up to date on the progress they’re making with their business. Easy document upload and online viewing tools so you can put your deck and other necessary documents online.

We’re also members of The Crowdfund Intermediary Regulatory Advocates (CfIRA). As part of this group we’re actively assisting in representing the interests of all parties involved in crowdfunding and lobbying the SEC throughout the rule making process to ensure regulation is not overly restrictive of this unique opportunity in funding start up businesses.

We are also capable of launching sites that conform with Regulation D private placement offerings and will also be able to meet any requirements or restrictions once the general solicitation requirements are removed by the SEC. This will allow portals to begin offering and promoting private placements to accredited investors now, before the rest of the crowdfunding rules are published by the SEC. We expect the general solicitation restrictions to be removed by October at earliest but definitely no later than the end of 2012.
